Governors' Camp Game Report, Masai Mara February 2010 The first couple of weeks of February were hot, with temperatures reaching 34 degrees celsius and mostly dry. Uncharacteristically for this time of year, it started to rain, and a fair amount too. April has been an interesting month, with heavy down pours, stunning cloud formations and thunderous outbursts all creating fascinating changes in the scenery. All these rain storms meant that the Mara River became a roaring torrent for three days, rising around 14 feet. Governors' Camp Game Report, Masai Mara, October 2011 October was a generally dry and windy month with local and scattered rain showers. Early morning temperatures averaged 18°C and later afternoons were as high as 34°C. Game Report, Masai Mara It has been a great month for game viewing in the Masai Mara. Governors' Camp Collection News February / March 2013 Over the last month our guests have enjoyed wonderful wildlife sightings at all our properties. In the Mara the Marsh Pride of lions continues to grow, they now have 15 cubs of varying ages in the pride. At Loldia resident bull eland have made their home close to the house and in Rwanda the golden monkeys have been entertaining guests with their playful antics.
